Are big families good or bad?

In the UK the average number of children per house hold is lowering to 1.6. Stupid number really because you can't have a 6th of a child do you agree? Anyway, back to the point, some people think that when it comes to family bigger is better. Do you agree?
Tracy and Pete Lewis have 12 children and number 13 on the way! They manage to cram this enormous family into a five bed roomed house, bit crammed eh?
The gripe with big families is that can the parents support them financially can you also do so emotionally as 13 children can't possibly get a lot of love and attention each, fairly. However, the Lewis family may be able to work hard to support their family but at least they are not sponging off society, in claiming benefits.
Do you think it is right to have that large number of children knowing they are crammed conditions they live in and that they won’t all get the attention they need? Or do you not think it matters as long as they are all loved and well looked after? Let me know.
