Jassi belives that alcohol is an important aspect of being bad, as it is an increasing issue, eventhough we know alcohol is bad for us, and yet we still don't stick to our limits. I have decided to look at her reasoning for this statment and have come across some startling information.

The NHS website states that drinking related deaths have muliplied at an alarming rate, tripling among men and almost doubled among women since 1979! This shows that this is a growing concern for us all.

The NHS also states that 40% of 18 to 29 year olds do not know how to manage their alcochol intake of which it is a very significant figure. It is because of these reasons the NHS are addressing this issue and are offering many options to help decrease ones alcohol consumption. For example support groups such as alcoholics annoymous.
